Habeas Attorney

Immigration detention is not without limits. In certain circumstances, individuals who remain detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) may have the right to ask a federal court to review the legality of their detention through a petition for a writ of habeas corpus.

We represent individuals and families facing complex immigration detention issues, including cases involving prolonged detention, unlawful detention, and situations in which a person's continued confinement may violate federal law or the United States Constitution. When appropriate, we pursue habeas corpus relief in federal court to challenge unlawful detention and protect our clients' rights.
